Fire Extinguisher RECALL (December 2005):
Affects certain models of 2.5 lb. and 5 lb. dry chemical fire extinguishers in that the valve stem and seat may prevent the unit from properly discharging. Strike First has issued a Notice to Owners which lists the serial numbers of the extinguishers that are the subject of this recall. Owners are advised to return the units to the point of purchase where a new valve stem will be installed. Units that have been retro-fitted will be identified with a small circular label. Units that do not have this label may not have been retro-fitted and should NOT BE TAGGED! Details on this bulletin may be viewed HERE!
